Abstract: | MMG Exploration sampled eight open-file diamond drillholes. The holes sampled include: LV09-001, McA20, GSD3, GRNT-79-1, GRNT-79-4, GRNT-79-7, GR-10, GR-11 and DD01BAL02. Assayed samples were analysed geochemically for 48 elements using four-acid ICP or fully characterized to 66 elements using a combination of methods. A petrographic study was undertaken on one sample from the Ballyhoo prospect (DD01BAL02). The purpose of the assays was to assess the geochemistry of shales in the Rosie Creek and Glyde River areas as part of our exploration strategy for HYC-style mineralisation elsewhere in the McArthur basin. The petrography was done on a thin lamination of sphalerite (ZnS) to determine the paragenesis of mineralisation. |
