Title Holder / Company: Acacia Minerals
Report id: CR2012-0318

Year: 2012
Author: Jettner, WA
Abstract: The area is considered to be prospective for base metals, precious metals and industrial minerals. During the year a broad scale literature survey was conducted on the whole of the Plenty Rivers Project area (11 EL's), which consisted of examining previous explorers data as submitted to the DoR as well as current thinking on mineralising systems in the eastern Arunta Region. EL 28207 is an integral part of this project area and is included in this ongoing study. Field work on the licence during the year consisted of a site visit by Mr A Jettner of Minesite Services and Mr P Harris of Stratus Resources for a general site familiarisation and examination of existing sites of interest with the intention of planning future on-ground exploration strategies. A second site visit was conducted in the year to further examine the stream sediment localities to understand the results obtained by previous workers and to locate sites of interest and access throughout the licence. Several rock samples were analysed with a Niton Portable XRF.
