TOC and Rock-Eval pyrolysis data of selected samples from wells drilled in the Georgina Basin, Northern Territory, Australia

Abstract

This report includes the total organic carbon (TOC) content and Rock-Eval pyrolysis data of samples selected from 14 wells; Baldwin 1, BHD 9, DD88SC1 (Scarr 1), NTGS Elkedra 3 (ELK 3), Hacking 1, Huckitta 1 (Exoil), Hunt 1, Lucy Creek 1, MacIntyre 1, NTGS 99/1, Owen 2, Randall 1, Phillip 2 and Ross 1, drilled in the Georgina Basin, Northern Territory, and undertaken as part of Geoscience Australia's Onshore Hydrocarbons Project. These samples were chosen to complement existing data. All wells were drilled with water-based muds which had no detrimental effects on the TOC and Rock-Eval pyrolysis data.
