Abstract: | Seismic Data from the Queen's Channel Surveys conducted within EP3 (formally known as OP2) was obtained from the Bureau of Mineral Resources, Geology and Geophysics, reprocessed by Digicon and interpreted by Barbara Investments Pty Ltd in 1988. Approximately 580km of seismic data that was acquired in 1965 (QC lines from the Queens Channel MSS 1965) and in 1966 (QCA lines from the Cape Hay-Cape Ford 2D MSS 1966) by Australian Aquitaine Petroleum Pty Ltd, was digitised and reprocessed for the purpose of interpreting the Queens Channel subsurface structures. The reprocessed lines have led to the confirmation of the structural features interpreted from the aeromagnetic data and help justify a seismic program to follow up the leads mapped and inferred by the mapping of the reprocessed data. |
