| Abstract: | The 1971 Palm Valley Seismic Survey was carried out by Austral United Geophysical Pty Ltd for Magellan Petroleum within OP175. Approximately 25.6km of seismic lines were shot using 6 point Common Depth Point seismic data was acquired in 1971. The quality of the acquired data was good overall except for Line 1 (71-PV1), where little valuable information was recorded. The seismic data was processed by Geophysical Services International, with preliminary data processing was performed to determine the velocities to be used and also determine any further processing procedures required to eliminate any noise from the data |
