Title Holder / Company: Pacific Oil and Gas
Report id: PR1992-0090
Tenure: EP18
Year: 1992
Corporate Author: Sibreian Research Institute of Geology, Geophysics and Mineral Resources
Abstract: In 1992 the Siberian Research Institute of Geology, Geophysics and Mineral Resources along with Pacific Oil & Gas Ltd conducted a survey using a Compensative modification of the Transient Electromagnetic Method (CTEM) within the McArthur basin. Work by CTEM in the McArthur Basin was conducted on a network of seismic lines particularly MA91-98, MA91-230, MC92-100 & MC92-281. The main objective of this survey was to determine the resistivity and depth of occurrence of the Jamison sandstones and to evaluate prospects of hydrocarbon availability therein.
