Abstract: | Compagne Generale De Geophysique carried out the 1966 Moyle River Seismic & Gravity Survey for Australian Aquitaine Petroleum Pty Ltd as part the farm-out agreement with Associatee Australian Oilfields NL within OP2. A total of 277 single coverage spreads, 226 sixfold CDP spreads and 76 refraction spreads were recorded for this survey. The total distance of seismic data that was acquired was 218.2km. Results indicated the North Moyle area was not promising as a prospective area. The South Moyle area is faulted. Several closures were identified. |
