Abstract: The 1972 Border Creek Seismic Survey was carried out by Austral United Geophysical Pty Ltd for Australian Aquataine Petroleum Pty Ltd in the south-west area of OP162. The survey consists of 10 new seismic lines with a total distance of 108km using a six-fold CDP technique. The acquired seismic data was processed by Digicon using a standard sequence of processing established by Australian Aquataine Petroleum.
The main objectives of the survey was to delineate any stratigraphic or structural features in the south-western part of the permit and to detail the possible structure associated with the geomorphological anomaly situated in the bend of the Keep River.
