Abstract: The 1973-1974 Central Amadeus Seismic Survey was conducted by Mandrel Industries Inc. (now Petty-Ray Geophysical) for Magellan Petroleum in OP175 and OP178 of the Amadeus Basin located south and West of Alice Springs. The survey was carried out using the 'Geograph' weight dropping technique in conjuction with a digital field recorder. The field data was processed in Alice Springs using an on-field digital processing unit (ComMand) for an early assessment of the results. A total of 895.24km of 12-fold common depth point profile was acquired and processed.
