| Abstract: | The 1983 Mereenie Seismic Survey has been carried out by Petty-Ray Geophysical Division of Geosource Inc for Magellan Petroleum Ltd on behalf of the Mereenie Joint Venture. A total of 193.96kms of seismic data was acquired from 3883 profiles in licence areas OL4 and OL5. The objective of the survey was to further delineate the field and investigate the suspected faulting pattern recognised in the reinterpretation of the 1982 Mereenie Seismic Survey. The Processing of seismic data for was conducted by Petty-Ray Geophysical and Hosking Geophysical. |
