Abstract: The 1964 Legune Seismic and Gravity Survey were conducted by Petty Ray Geophysical Engineering Company on behalf of Australian Aquitaine Petroleum Pty Ltd in the Keep River Area within OP2 in the Northern Territory. Both reflection and refraction work was carried out as part of this survey, with approximately 29km of refraction data and 61.6km of reflective seismic data recorded. The gravity network covered 226.9km and most of the readings were taken along the reflection and refraction lines. The main objectives of this program were to carry out reflection experiments in order to determine an adequate technique that suitable for structural investigation of the area, to obtain structural information with the main focus within the northern area of OP2 and to check if gravity is directly related to the structural shape of the basin.
