| Abstract: | The 1964 Kilpattha Seismic Survey was carried by Compagne Generale de Geophysique in OP36 for Australian Aquitaine Petroleum Pty Ltd. During the survey 212.4km of new seismic reflection lines, 40.8km of refraction lines, in-line and velocity spreads were acquired. The main objective of this survey were to study the structural shape of the basin by seismic reflection, to assess and compare the relative effectiveness of both the seismic reflection and refraction method and to check if the available gravity and aeromagnetic data available are directly related to the structural shape of the basin. |
