| Abstract: | A reflection seismograph survey was conducted in the Steele's Gap Area, for Flamingo Petroleum Ltd between Sept 28 and Oct 22 1961 by Geoseismic Australia Ltd. The primary purpose of the survey was to determine the probable thickness of the sedimentary section, along two traverses, both running approximately north and south. It was also hoped that the presence of any structural features, suitable for the accumulation of oil or gas, would be indicated. |
