Title: 1963 Todd River Area Seismic Survey - Seismic Acquisition, Processing & Interpretation Report
Title Holder / Company: Flamingo Petroleum
Report id: PR1963-0035
Tenure: OP54
Year: 1963
Corporate Author: Namco
Abstract: A Reflection Seismic Survey was conducted by Namco International Incorporated for Flamingo Petroleum Proprietary Ltd within OP54 of the Northern Territory Australia. The purpose of the survey was to provide detailed subsurface control on the north flank of the Camel Flat syncline for evaluation of a gravity minimum in that area. Additionally, the program was assigned to develop regional subsurface control between Steele's Gap and Malcolm's Bore, to determine the thickness of sediments, and to detail any interesting geologic feature found by the initial reconnaissance.
Results of the survey suggest that several major undulations exist in the section but that the most prospective anomalies may be associated with stratigraphic pinchouts.
