Abstract: The 1984 Amadeus Seismic Survey was conducted by Petty-Ray Geophysical for Pancontinental Petroleum in the Glen Edith, West Glen Edith, Areyonga and Harajica areas of the Amadeus Basin. These areas form part of the Oil Permits OP175 and OP178. The energy source was four vibrators with 12m inline pad spacing. There were 12 sweeps per vibrator point with 4m move-up between sweeps. 8kg of Dynamite was also used in line P83-GE48, where vibrators could not be used. The seismic data that was acquired was processed by Digital Exploration Ltd for Pancontinental Petroleum.
