Abstract: Emma 2D 2011 Seismic Survey consists of a total of 13 new seismic lines with a total distance of 374km. This acquisition is situated in the Ross area (northern EP103) and is also referred to as the 2011 Ross Infill. Seismic acquisition in the Ross area was undertaken on the Ooratippra, Argadargada and Lucy Creek stations. The program was designed to infill the seismic grid over the Ross area to better delineate a number of structural leads identified by earlier mapping. Reprocessing of existing data was carried out to provide a consistent data set which would tie in phase and amplitude.
The 2011 Emma acquisition was conducted by Terrex Seismic Ltd and processed by Dayboro Geophysical (PFC-11 lines).
Dayboro also reprocessed PetroFrontier's 2010 acquisition and a selection of vintage lines (GBE-10 ; GBE-TEX and Georgina Vintage lines from 1988-1990).
AUSGEOS performed some additional processing on the 2009, 2010 and newly acquired 2011 data. This included improved first break picking and specialised processing techniques.
In total, 1709km of processing including acquisition and reprocessing was achieved.
