A Falcon airborne gravity gradiometer survey was flown during October, 2003, acquiring approximately 1700 linear kilometers (225 km) of gravity gradiometer, magnetics, and laser DEM scanner data. Approximately 75% of this survey was contained within SEL 9779. Initial interpretation by BHP Billiton?s Falcon Operations Group in February 2004 highlighted 20 discrete gravity anomalies and recommended follow-up exploration. Subsequent analysis by Gravity Diamonds Limited identified a further 22 targets requiring follow-up exploration. Initial exploration consisting of loam and gravel Heavy Mineral sampling, conventional geochemical sampling, airborne photography, a detailed ground gravity survey, two programs of RC drilling, and a single diamond drilling program has been carried out during the reporting year. These programs have covered most of the initial round of targets identified by the Falcon survey the highlight to date being the discovery of the ABN021 kimberlite pipe. Access to several anomalies has been delayed pending heritage clearance by the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority, however this clearance is soon to be granted with exploration to follow.en_US
