Title: Final report for EL 27568 Ooratippra Project for the reporting period 3 March 2014 to 2 March 2016
Title Holder / Company: CKA Resources
Report id: CR2016-0212

Year: 2016
Author: Chapman, A
Abstract: EL 25768 was part of CKA's Ooratippra Project purchased in 2011 from Acacia Minerals Pty Limited, wholly owned by Equator Resources Limited. The transfer was approved by the Mines Department on 31 October 2011. The Ooratippra Project covered approximately 1,220 square kilometres (in 2015) straddling the Sandover Highway approximately 300 kilometres northeast of Alice Springs. During year 5 CKA reduced EL 27568 by 17 blocks and the tenement was relinquished on 2 March 2016. This report details exploration undertaken on the tenement for the duration it was held. In 2010 the previous owner of the Ooratippra project EL's, NT Resources Ltd, applied for and was awarded a 'bringing forward discovery' geophysics collaboration with the NT Government for the Ooratippra project. A 1 km spaced gravity survey was completed by NT Resources as set out in the collaboration. A total of 125 stations were taken within the relinquished ground. Anomaly M and N were identified. Geophysical analysis included enhancement of magnetic signatures utilising the latest data enhancement and analysis techniques, estimation of magnetic source depths and mapping of major magnetic elements and lineaments. Whilst EL 27568 is still considered to be prospective for IOCG mineralisation and Diamonds, CKA considers some of its other tenements to be more prospective based on magnetic and gravity data and will focus its efforts on EL 27526.
