| Abstract: | Mining leases MLS 77-86 were held by Central Pacific Minerals on behalf of a JV with Magellan Petroleum. Drilling and mapping, conducted 1970-73, was aimed at defining a fluorite resource. CPM was put into receivership and acquired by Queensland Energy Resources. Marketing studies indicate that fluorite mining would not be feasible at current prices. |
