Abstract: Results of rock chip samples collected from outcrops of the weathered basalt along contact zone between Montejinni Limestone and Kalkarindji basalt show that copper content is relatively low. This could be from the weathering process. More sample, including fresh rock underneath limestone, should be collected to investigate the copper content in the contact zone. Preliminary and limited extend soil geochemistry survey results indicate that copper enrichment process occurred in the contact zone between Montejinni Limestone and Kalkarindji basalt. Field investigation has failed to identify any visible copper occurrences away from contact zone between basalt and Montejinni Limestone. Under the current financial environment funding is very tight. After a careful review, the management board of GRIGM RESOURCES PTY LTD comes to a decision to relinquish the authority, so the company would be financially able to continue its Cu project in EL 29046 license area.
