Abstract: | The Warrego North Project is located in the Tennant Creek goldfield, where the Warramanga formation rocks are the host to ironstone-Au-Cu-Bi mineralisation. Meteoric has carried out extensive gravity and ground magnetic surveys over target areas. Geophysical interpretation led to the identification of several targets by Meteoric. These were followed by an RC drilling programme during 2004. Drill logs and assays were also completed, giving anomalous geochemistry. Exploration work also included geological mapping, rock sampling of outcrops, petrographic analysis, down hole geophysical logging and rehabilitation. |
