EL 9309 Skipper Hill West, Ninth annual report, 29 November 2003 to 28 November 2004

Abstract

Exploration Licence 9309 Skipper Hill West is on the north-eastern margin of a major regional gravity high centred approximately 40 km south-west of Tennant Creek. The Licence was applied for under a Joint Venture between Carpentaria Gold Pty Limited and Giants Reef Exploration Pty Ltd, which ended in October 1996. This report records the exploration work done on EL 9309 during the ninth year of tenure, from 29th November 2003 to 28th November 2004. Renewal for EL 9309 was granted for a further two years, with the licence period ending 28th November 2005. In mid July 2004, Giants Reef Mining employed a project geologist. The geologist will be responsible for specific areas, in which EL 9309 forms part of. Only a minimal amount exploration was carried out on this lease during the year, however significant exploration was carried out on an adjacent tenement EL 9915, immediately to the east of EL 9309. GRM intends to extend this work into EL 9309 next year by carrying out detailed gravity surveys and, pending favourable results, follow-up RAB drilling.
