Third annual report for Crusade, 4 May 2003 to 3 May 2004 SEL10139 and EL10397

Abstract

Exploration Licence (SEL) 10319 was granted to the Central Desert Joint Venture partners (Otter Gold NL 60% and Acacia Resources Ltd {now Anglogold Australia} 40%) on the 23rd January 2001 for a period of four years. SEL 10319 is located some 70 km north of the Tanami Mine. This is the third year of tenure. Exploration Licence (EL) 10397 was granted to the Central Desert Joint Venture partners on the 4th April 2001 for a period of six years. EL 10397 is located some 90 km north of the Tanami Mine. This is the third year of tenure. This report covers activities completed by Newmont Tanami staff within Central Desert Joint Venture exploration ground. Work concentrated on the drilling within SEL 10319 with the completion of 33 RAB hole drilled at the beginning of October to follow up the IP Survey over the Crusade deposit. A regional mapping programme also took place over the Suplejack project area. A small follow up geochemistry programme was also executed.
