Chilling Project ELs 22738, 24557, 25076, 25077 and 25078, Combined annual report 9 November 2011 to 8 November 2012

Abstract

The planned field exploration activities for the reporting period were curtailed in the current year due to several factors, the most prominent being Crossland's expending the majority of its available funds on its promising Charley Creek Rare Earth Project located in the Alice Springs region. The year has proved a challenge for Crossland to acquire further investment in the company so as to keep the Chilling project in good standing. Efforts have been made by management throughout the year to acquire Joint Venture partners, so far without success. The main activity for the current year consisted principally of on-going assessment of the data and results for EL 22738 ('Buchanan') and a compilation and interpretation of historical data for the Fletchers Gully gold deposit. Additionally, Crossland in collaboration with NTDME, instigated a HyLogger study of some diamond drill core and aircore samples derived from the 2011 Buchanan drilling program. No work was carried out in relation to ELs 24557 and 25077. In the former case, the results of a sacred site survey conducted by AAPA was not received until early September. There was no indication throughout the period as to when the survey would be completed and the timing of receipt of the Authority Certificate was too late to consider any field work. In the case of EL 25077, Crossland is still awaiting notification from AAPA regarding the requested survey for that area.
