Abstract: | EL 28552 Cattlewater Pass comprising 36 reticular blocks is located between Cadney Fault zone, (north) and Mt Johnstone Fault zone, (south) two south east-trending, mantle-tapping structures traversing across eastern Arunta Inlier. The licence area is dominated by Ongeva granulite of lower Cadney metamorphics assigned to 1810 - 1790Ma Strangways Metamorphic Complex. The Ongeva granulite is overprinted by late stage potassic alteration which may possibly be a pathfinder to significant Cu-Au mineralisation within the licence area. A first year program of regional interpretation including TMI, Radiometrics, Gravity and Landsat datasets was undertaken. |
