Title: | Annual and final technical report for the period ending 21 December 2015 EL 28970 |
Title Holder / Company: | Spectrum Rare Earths |
Report id: | CR2015-0898 |
Tenure: | EL28970 |
Year: | 2015 |
Author: | Moyle, AJ |
Abstract: | Exploration by Spectrum within EL 28970 revealed moderately anomalous Rare Earth Element (REE) values at Knightfall Prospect. Several rock chip and soil samples collected at Knightfall Prospect, located in the northeast sector of EL 28970, during a reconnaissance program returned maximum values of 37ppm U and 419ppm TREE. A gridded soil sampling program at Knightfall Prospect returned results up to 65ppm Yttrium. This mineralisation was closely associated with the airborne radiometric anomalies and gravity gradient interpreted fault. Spectrum relinquished the tenement due to other priority target activities and the economic climate. |
