Carpentaria Project Annual and final report for EL 26539, EL 26556 and EL 26557

Abstract

During the final exploration period (2014-2015), Sinosteel carried out its second RC drill program. The drill program was completed during September-October 2014. Drill site and access track rehabilitation was carried out in the few days immediately following the drill program. Consultants Resource Potentials were contracted to manage the drill program and subsequent rehabilitation. Egan drilling were contracted to carry out the drilling. A total of 2,078m were drilled over 34 drill holes. Selected drill samples were sent to SGS laboratories for geochemical analysis (SGS, 2014). The results expanded the zone of Mn mineralisation to the east of the known Robinson River Mn occurrences. However, the Mn grade and intersection thickness is not considered great enough for the company to continue exploration in this area. No other drill targets provided good results.
