Title: EL 29862 Partial relinquishment report for the period 26 November 2013 to 4 December 2015
Title Holder / Company: Territory Iron
Report id: CR2015-0800
Tenure: EL29862
Year: 2015
Author: Glass, L
Abstract: Exploration work completed during the reporting period included desktop studies, reconnaissance and geological field mapping. The graticular blocks chosen for the reduction of tenure was a function of a coordinate system change in datum from Australian Geodetic Datum (AGD66) to World Geodetic System (WGS84; now Geocentric Datum of Australia, GDA94). As a consequence of the shift in datum, the original tenement boundaries of then Mineral Lease Applications ML 27155 and ML 28573 (now EL 29862) no longer fitted within the 1 minute graticules or graticular sub-blocks, and the tenement partially overlapped into adjoining graticular blocks. Because of the overlap into adjoining graticular blocks, this partial relinquishment also enables other explorers to attain a full graticular block should these adjoining blocks become available for exploration.
