Carpentaria Project Review of tenements EL 26533, EL 26535, EL 26539, EL 26556 and EL 26557

Abstract

Resource Potentials was engaged by Sinosteel Australia Pty Ltd to carry out a review of available government and open file data over five granted tenements EL 26533, EL 26535, EL 26539, EL 26556 and EL 26557, located along the eastern coastal region of the Gulf of Carpentaria in the Northern Territory. The purpose of the review is to provide recommendations on the exploration potential for manganese mineralisation and to propose future work programs in areas considered prospective. Available government geophysical, geological, topographical and open file reports were obtained as part of this review. These datasets were subsequently processed to highlight geology, structures and areas prospective for manganese mineralisation and to highlight areas where access is not limited.
