Abstract: | In September 2015, a partial cancellation notice for the Group was issued due to under expenditure for two successive years. Cancellation of seventy six (76) sub-blocks from the subject licence was undertaken by Crossland due to this expenditure shortfall. A review of Crossland annual reports indicates that various exploration activities have been carried out over the cancelled blocks. The activities formed part of more extensive work carried out over the entire (and adjacent) licences. The activities include Aircore drilling and various geochemical surveys including rock chip, stream sediment and auger soil/alluvium sampling. In 2009 a radiometric anomaly characterisation project was undertaken over the Teapot Granite and adjacent country. During 2007 and early 2008, two airborne surveys were flown: EM and Mag-Rad. Much of the relinquished part of the licence covers the Teapot Granite and adjacent high grade metamorphics. The 'hard rock' uranium and REE potential was downgraded within this unit following detailed geochemical surveys, geological mapping and some drilling activities. |
