Title: | Partial relinquishment report for EL 24726 Ammaroo Phosphate Project |
Title Holder / Company: | Territory Phosphate Rum Jungle Resources |
Report id: | CR2015-0550 |
Tenure: | EL24726 |
Year: | 2015 |
Author: | Dunster, J |
Abstract: | The Ammaroo Phosphate Project is located 240 km southeast of Tennant Creek. This report relates to EL 24726, formerly known as Arganara, which covers part of the main 40 km-long billion-tonne Ammaroo Phosphate Resource. An ML application has been in place on EL 24726 since 14/02/2013. Fifty-eight blocks are being voluntarily relinquished from EL 24726 because these are a combination of CLC no-go zones, AAPA sites, too far into the basin to have phosphatic facies (and, if present, prohibitively deep), and outcrop of rocks now recognised as possible Neoproterozoic economic basement. There has been no on-ground work on the area being relinquished. |
