| Abstract: | This report summarises work during the licence life including interpretation of the acquired digital data sets, regional, infill soil and MMI geochemical programs. During the 1999-2000 field season an infill soil sampling programme was completed over the central and southwestern regions of EL 8780. A total of 36, B-horizon soil samples were submitted for analysis. The peak results returned were 30 ppb. Low order gold values returned from geochemical sampling programs conducted within EL 8780 during all the years of tenure have downgraded the potential to discover economic gold mineralisation. The licence was subsequently surrendered on 5 April 2001. |
