Abstract: | This report summarises exploration activities during the licence life. The work includes soil sampling, aerial magnetic and radiometric surveys, vacuum drilling, RC and NQ diamond tail drilling. Significant gold/arsenic anomalism and mineralisation have been discovered within the bounds of SEL 8432. 9 km zone covering gold mineralisation (C1-C5 anomalies) has been outlined with possible extensions along strike. The best intersections were 6m at 3.48 g-t Au (C1 anomaly), 15m at 1.21 g/t Au (C4 anomaly), 6m at 25 g-t Au (C5 anomaly) 3m at 2.34 g/t Au (Tip Toe anomaly) and 6m at 1.8 g-t Au (NW Patrick anomaly). Lack of the land access has effectively stopped exploration efforts since mid-1994. A new tenement has recently been granted in order to retain tenure over this highly prospective area. |
