Exploration Licences 2505, 2506, 2507, 2516, 2517, 7029 and 9354 Arnhem Land, Tin Camp Joint Venture Fifth annual report 12 Sepember 1999 to 11 Sepember 2000

Abstract

The report summarises exploration work during the last reporting period. All of the drilling was conducted within the South Horn area (EL 2506) to test radiometric anomalies. Most of the holes were aiming to test stratigraphic continuations of graphitic mica schists of the Lower Cahill Formation. No significant uranium mineralisation was found. The core analysis confirmed presence of secondary uranium mineralisation within the metamorphic lithologies, encouraging for further testing.
