Abstract: An airborne EM survey was completed over a large portion of SEL 8630. This resulted in 17 targets none of which warranted drill testing. 14 targets were selected for investigation from a previously flown Dighem survey. Only one of these was drill tested, but no kimberlite was found. A surface chromite anomaly on the Northern Anomaly was also drill tested, but no kimberlite was intersected. The GAP technique has been used to generate targets in areas of known indicator minerals. Nine targets were produced from this. 8 loam and rock samples were collected from the SEL. Results from the 4 of the 8 samples proved negative, the rest are yet to be processed. A drill spoil sample collected from the 14-15m interval of drill hole BH1833 was sent for geochemical analysis.
