Annual report for MLS 8 (The Granites) covering work undertaken from 15 May 1999 to 14 May 2000

Abstract

The report describes exploration activity during the reporting period. Work was limited to RC drilling at Quorn and Bunkers Hill to further delineate the listed resources. Results from drilling improved resource model for the Quorn and Bunkers Hill gold mineralisation. The best intercepts from Quorn are 11m at 2.88 g/t, 7 m at 3.72 g/t,(GRC827), 9m at 2.5 g/t (GRC853) and 3 m at 7.18 g/t Au. From Bunkers Hill the best intercepts are 5m at 2.35 g/t Au (GRC847), 4 m at 13.1 g/t (GRC548) and 6m at 6.43 g/t Au and 9m at 4.54 g/t Au (GRC849). A review of the previous exploration results and geological interpretation has lead to revision of target areas for future exploration within the tenement.
