Abstract: The desktop study of EL 29221 for the uranium exploration has been completed. An interpreted overview and technical proposal of the geological, geophysical and tectonic setting for exploration of the Napperby (Reynolds Range and Ngalia Basin, Northern Territory) uranium has been reported. This preliminary geoscientific study aims to investigate the geophysical and geological expression of structures related uranium mineralisation and its relationship with possible palaeodraniag landforms by interpreting available remote sensing and geophysical data. These studies will assist exploration in the Napperby area (particularly Reynolds Range and Ngalia Basin) and provide fundamental data for increasing knowledge of geological processes and landscape evolution within this region. Currently, however, the limited geoscientific data could provide preliminary information for applying some more techniques for exploring potential uranium anomaly sites in the area. Delineation of these subsurface signatures is proposed for further investigation by applying effective methods, such as remote sensed night-time thermal imagery and airborne electromagnetic survey.
