Abstract

Rock chip sampling carried out on EL 25931 in 2012-2013 indicated that low level anomalous zinc an lead within the fault breccia at the base of the Limmen Sandstone bluff is repeatable. The fault breccia is a wedge of sheared laminated limestone or stromatolite of the Dook Creek Formation between overlying Limmen Sandstone and the intruding Derim Derim Dolerite. The extent of the anomalism is limitied. In addition the occurrence lies beneathe or near to a communications tower and on the edge of the tenement with a zone which was excluded from the tenement. These factors severely down grade the tenement for lead - zinc or gold mineralisation.
