Abstract: A geological interpretation of the Maud Creek deposit was completed by consultants and it was concluded the Maud Dolerite and the tuff-agglomerate horizons are continuous stratabound units within the Tollis Formation, hence it is suggested that there is potential for additional ore zones along strike at the intersection of favourable structures. Seven areas of drainages were monitored and samples taken for analysis over a five month period and included the 'wet'. Signet Engineering completed a pit design which included an ore resource of 150 000 tonnes using the Albion process with good recoveries obtained. A feasibility study which incorporated environmental, heritage and aboriginal artifacts field surveys was completed for MLN(a) 1978.
