Title: SEL 9591 1998-1999 Annual report to 30 of October 1999
Title Holder / Company: Northern Gold

Year: 1999
Author: Mottram, N
Abstract: This report details exploration activities carried out over previously identified gold anomalies within Big Red Blob and Bons Rush Prospects. Geological mapping, soil sampling and drilling was carried out over the prospects to identify sources of previously defined gold anomalous results. The total of 108 soil samples were collected in the Big Red Blob area with the best results returned 70 ppb Au and 90 ppb Au. Samples collecte from the 181 RAB drill holes returned best results of 3m at 1.7g-t Au and 9m at 2.51 g-t Au. RAB drilling and soil sampling identified north to north north-east striking zones of gold and arsenic bedrock mineralisation beneath the Big Red Blob soil anomaly. The RAB drilling (131 drill holes) over the Bons Rush Prospect was successful in identifying several north north-east trending zones of gold and arsenic bedrock mineralisation beneath soil gold anomalism. The best assays were 3m at 3.56 g-t Au and 3m at 33.25 Au. Results from the aircore drilling program were disappointing with the best grade of 3m at 0.041 g-t Au.
