Brocks Junction Group of Tenements EL 7972, EL 7933, EL 9428, EL 7919, EL 9658 Third group annual report for the year ended 3 July 1999

Abstract

Within EL 7919, 291 soil samples were taken to infill sample in the area gridded in the previous year - several low order coherent anomalies are indicated in the south but not significant enough to warrant additional sampling. This tenement has expired. Seventy-seven soil samples were collected along two lines 1.6 km apart - results were low within EL 7933. No work was conducted within EL 7972 and the licence has expired. Within EL 9428, 366 soil samples were collected along lines 400m apart with sample spacing at 50m. Only fourteen results obtained values of 4 ppb Au or better, with the highest being 15 ppb Au. Within EL 9658, eleven rock chip samples were obtained, results were poor. Most of the licences were in part covered by a gravity survey and aeromagnetic survey.
