Abstract: Outstanding results of drill soil samples collected within ERL 141, 142 were made available and were negative. Two gravel samples were collected downstream from the M14 anomaly and were positive i.e.. 15 and 2 chromites respectively. A MM1 soil sample program was completed over the Kay/Ector pipes and the M14 anomaly, in addition 21 duplicate samples over M14 anomaly were analysed using enzyme leach techniques. The results of the sampling indicate that the kimberlites can be detected with these techniques, however ground investigation has failed to produce additional drill targets. Ground penetrating radar trials were conducted and was found useful to determine outlines of known pipes, it is limited in exploration for new kimberlite discoveries. A seismic survey was completed and delineated known pipes. Three ground magnetic surveys were completed, however noisy laterite responses made effective interpretation difficult, some target were suggested for future follow up work. An EM34 survey in the Gareth pipe area did not locate additional targets.
