Abstract: | A regional stream sampling programme was completed to delineate areas which may provide host for rare earth element mineralization. 350 sites were selected and sampled. The stream sampling programme within EL 28492 returned positive results for rare earth elements. Crossland has outlined five anomalous areas for follow up work to be completed. Anomalous areas outlined by Crossland for REE area similar to those where REE have been historically present. The change in analysis method and subsequent change assay results highlighted the necessity for using the correct assay method. Assays for Gold returned a max value of 12 ppb Au but were generally negative. At this point no further exploration for gold is recommended as REE are the primary target. |
