Abstract: A historical data review comprising assessment of available open file reports and data showed that several historic drill cores were worthy of follow up with respect to uranium. Toro undertook a viewing/assessment and assay of historic drill core from BDH4 and BDH5, drilled at the Mines Admin anomaly in EL 29476 (2 samples assayed). Minor uranium anomalism was identified (max 332 ppm) within the thermal aureole of a Nicholson Granite pluton, confirming historic assay results. Uranium is likely to be of refractory skarn type and not of great interest as a genuine target; these are generally small and poddy. A field visit during August 2012 was carried out for general reconnaissance and some rockchip samples (three). No anomalies were identified. An AAPA heritage clearance was also carried out in preparation for future drilling.
