Abstract: EL 28845 is located in the central part of the Pine Creek Orogen (PCO) in the Mt Ringwood area. This tenement is being explored for gold and uranium mineralisation. During the reporting period, a technical review of the project area was undertaken. It involved retrieval of exploration data from open file reports, GIS entry and interpretation of geological, geochemical and geophysical data. In addition, a field trip was undertaken for ground-truthing. A review of the project area shows that it is located within major gold producing part of the PCO, where prospective rocks of the Palaeoproterozoic Burrell Creek Formation are present below recent sedimentary cover. In the next reporting period, company will continue geological and geophysical data interpretation. As much of the project is covered by a thick layer of alluvium, and that requires drilling to reach the bed rock geology. An important part of the program will be subsurface mapping to understand geological setting of the rock formations. During ground truthing, prospective part of the project area will be selected for further exploration. An important part will be geochemical sampling program which will be used to test selected part of EL prospectivity.
