Abstract: During the year minimal work was conducted on the ground. Within other tenements in the basin several regional reconnaissance programs were undertaken and survey techniques trialled. These trials have highlighted the ability of detailed ground radiometrics to delineate possible targets within the areas of outcrop that were not previously identified with the airborne radiometric data while a trail of Gradient Array IP has proven successful in targeting reduced horizons that could potentially host uranium mineralisation below thin transported cover sequences.Within the tenement most of the areas of outcrop have sites identified by the CLC as being significant heritage sites. No heritage surveys by the AAPA have been conducted. AAPA surveys are planned to be undertaken in 2013 depending on their availability. A search of the current heritage register has no sites within the tenement. The CLC defined sites, being over the areas of outcrop have limited targeting possible via ground radiometrics or direct target detection. With the newly trialled IP surveying technique targeting under the sand cover away from the areas of outcrop is now possible.
