Abstract: | Numerous trips were made to the Project in the period. These were primary to investigate radiometric anomalies with a view to design drilling. It was found that these anomlies were attributle to reduced sandstones and pebbly sandstones outcropping in the tenement. Redox oxidation is extensive, with uranium enrichments at the Redox Reduced/Oxidised interfaces. A drilling program was designed based on these field inspections and sent to the CLC for clearances. In September 2007, GPX Airborne commenced a fixed wing airborne magnetic and radiometric survey for Energy Metals Limited in Vaughan Springs. The survey was flown using a Cessna 210 operated by Ozshore Pty Ltd. A total of 14932.09 line km was flown. The data was reprocessed by Southern Geoscience Consultants, where the new data was meshed with previous flight lines by Rio in 1997. |
