Abstract: | Exploration Licence 9645, Pale Moon, located approximately 25 kilometres east of Tennant Creek, is one of a contiguous group of tenements, referred to as the Eastern Project Area, being explored by Giants Reef. The others are Els 7636, 7712, 7985, 9372, 9408, 9685 and ERL 85. This report covers the work done on the Licence area during its second year of tenure. Targets are gold and copper orebodies, associated with ironstone masses known to exist in the area. Outcrop in the EL is restricted, but the area is underlain by sedimentary sequences of the Palaeoproterozoic Warramunga Formation. Work during the second year consisted of gravity modelling and RC percussion and diamond drilling at the Ganymede prospect. |
