Abstract: | A reconnaissance lag and vacuum drill program generated a number of low order anomalies, including single spot anomalies of 41 and 16ppb Au warranting follow up. In addition in areas of subcrop and float rock chip samples were collected rock chips returned values to 1.6g-t Au. The area returning anomalous rock chip values was tested by RAB. The drilling returned a peak value of 8ppb Au. Additional RAB completed at Big Top. This returned mineralisation over a width of 5m. The tenor was lower than anticipated with a maximum of 4m at 1,25g-t Au. Quartz veins peripheral to the shear zone returned values between 0.3 and 0.8g-t Au. Gold values associated with the shear zone are poddy. |
