Abstract: | Rock chip sampling completed indicated some anomalous gold with associated arsenic, copper and cobalt. The Sundance East Prospect was drilled with 3 RC holes to follow up the previous year's positive drill intersections, however no mineralisation was intersected. Two RC holes were drilled beneath a RAB anomaly showing Cu and Co anomalism, results verified the anomalism with broad cobalt and copper anomalism obtained. The major exploration effort was conducted within the Coomalie Dolomite targeting the occurrence of magnesite. To this effect 46 RC holes were drilled and magnesite intersected in most holes, however there was a significant variation in the quality of the magnesite intersected. |
